I am now (the last 4 years) the full time K-8 art teacher in a private school with lots of budget money to spend!!!! Stay positive and try to find any support you can from other art teachers in your area.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4497814921450541701.post-45099291611202156872010-04-12T07:42:30.462-07:002010-04-12T07:42:30.462-07:00Thanks Cheryl! I works very hard and gained a curriculum writers job. From then on I was able to pick a job and finally after 14 years got a permanent job. The foreign language bit messed me up several times and I had to go into a classroom to teach other subjects too but that is now over.I dont teach anything else but art and love it still in my 21st yr now - Hang in there and look for other opportunities where you will be appreciated.Cheryl Hancockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09662573144809511597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4497814921450541701.post-34002512217976685532010-04-11T20:43:03.971-07:002010-04-11T20:43:03.971-07:00I went from 1.0 last year to .6 this year because ...I went from 1.0 last year to .6 this year because of something similar :( Wishing you the best outcome because as I can see from your blog you are a rocking art teacher and I'm sure you brighten your students days xxHope Chellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15550478301580662752noreply@blogger.com
